As a blogger, I know that we don’t have same schedule for blogging all the time. Mostly we are occupied and very rarely we get free time. So in this hectic schedule, it is difficult to manage job, blogging and personal life altogether.
However if we are passionate about something, we can find out time for our passion automatically. It is easy to manage everything if there is keenness of doing it. I agree, blogging is a tedious and time consuming task. So, time management is necessary to achieve success in blogging. Below mentioned are the few tips that could help you to improve on your time management.
- Make a Priority List – As this is very difficult to complete more than one task at a time. The best way to deal with such situations is to work according to priority. So, it is very important to create a priority list that contains the list of tasks to be completed and the time you have to get it done. So work according to that list. You can also differentiate the important work by shading it with different colours which will keep reminding you to complete them first. You can also create a master list where you can capture every blogging activity. You can use calendar, any application in mobile or any software in your PC for time management.
- Set up Schedule for blogging – Keep some hours free for blogging. Prefer that time of the day when you will be more relaxed and calm. To write the post on regular basis can be very tedious task. Initially try to write a post on alternative days and then write it regularly. As per my observation, night is the best time to write as no one disturbs us at that time. After some time, posts writing will take lesser time as we know experience makes the difference.

- More and more Articles – Make a stock of articles when you get more free time. If you can cover 2 articles per day then don’t think that 1 article is enough for the day. If you have made your schedule of 2 hours daily then dedicate these 2 hours only on blogging, nothing else. By this, you will learn to manage more work in less time.
- Love your Blog – Don’t make blogging your business. As when your passion becomes your work then it started to be like burden. Don’t do blogging, keeping in mind that you want to earn from it, instead make it an interest for you.
- Eagerness – Eagerness to do something always lead to success. As it is possible that something which may tire you initially, could be found really motivating after some time. Also it is very important to have the zeal and eagerness to do something.
- Tomorrow never comes – Being human being this has become our habit to leave things pending for tomorrow which should not be the case in terms of blogging. As it is always important to document great idea or a great thought which may come to your mind today but may be not tomorrow.
Hope this post will help you to manage your schedule and you will be able to take out some time for blogging. Feel free to add suggestions in the comment section given below.

Agree with you Amit. But as you have mentioned to write more and more article, 1 article is not enough. I disagree here somehow. I suggest whenever you write just make it a masterpiece. Fix a days to post your articles. Suppose you may set 1 day 1 article or 1 article on monday, 1 article on wednesday and 1 on sunday or something like that. when you are having a fixed schedule of posting articles then you can notice the increase in readership.
However I haven’t set up anything this kind. I juut post when I want
Dear it’s very nice post about Time Management . Today time is most important part of life ..
Thanks
Hi Amit,
This is my first comment to you. The article is written in such a manner that solves a problem.
I agree with you that when you take your blog as your passion you will make some time for it somehow.
Yes, writing articles is such a tedious task in start, it requires more concentration than you ever use to do any work.
But yes practice makes perfect.
Thanks I really enjoy the article
Thanks for stopping by Vipin. Just like everything needs time and attention similarly blogging do so. Initially you might find it tedious however I am positive that after some time it automatically generates interest.
Happy Blogging.:-)
Informative post Amit!
Yes indeed, it IS tough to manage your time with the hectic lifestyles we lead nowadays. Being a professional writer and blogger, as well as a full time Mom – I can say it’s not easy, but not impossible either, provided you have your priorities set right.
Once you know what your priorities are, and if you are able to take out time for those first – you can easily divide the remaining time for other things. Like keep different time duration for blogging, commenting, social networks, surfing etc. And once your time is over – get OFF them (this is the hardest part!)
Similarly, I agree with Atish about having a few days set for blogging, because that binds you more than anyone else. You are then committed to put up a post for your readers who then wait for it. It’s something I started doing a few months back and it works! I don’t prefer blogging daily, nor so frequent because I prefer giving time to my readers to come and share their views on my post and I love their comments and interaction, which we miss out if we have posts too often (though there are many who post daily and do well in that aspect too). Each one to their own.
Thanks for sharing.
Most of blogger spend their time on social networking site therefore must be manage time is very important to do successfully blogging. Thank you for time management tips..
Really a neat n nice post Amit! Agree with your points but the eagerness should be mentioned in the top of the list. Even tough you are scheduling time to write the blog posts, the output would not be prompt, if you are not enthusiastic in blogging. So am suggesting that the interest should be placed first in the list, then all other points should follow it.
Anyway, good n useful article for bloggers, thanks for sharing n keep writing.
